This will basically walk you through the ultrasound process of cattle production. Although it highlights the process here at ranch, it's the same throughout.
Cattle are worked to the squeeze area of the ranch. Some facilities work better than others but whatever your ranch or situation offers, as long as you you have a chute, you can have your cattle scanned!
Covered scan areas are a must when it comes to ultrasounding cattle. Scanning cattle in direct sunlight or inclement weather is very difficult and not normally practiced. If your work area is not covered, tarps or a tent system works out just fine
