All Breeds Age Scanning Bracket
All animals that are to be scanned for your carcass data and pedigree EPD's, must fall within the a prescribed age bracket established by the U.G.C. In most cases, I recommend scanning your cattle around 13 months of age on both your bulls and heifers. I don't see many cases where bulls are not in solid scanning condition, but females should be scanned with a body score of no less than 5 and and in good "breeding condition".
